The Ballarat Swans have agreed to participate in this year’s “Community Bowl” event at the Burrumbeet Races on January 1st.

How it works:

Every community group involved sells 50 memberships at $25 each and they then have a horse in the community bowl race. If your horse wins, you receive $2500, if 2nd $1500 and $750 for third.

Each membership ticket ($25) entitles you to entry, 2 beer tickets, stubby holder and free entry to all race meetings at the Ballarat Turf Club (excluding the Cup & Gold Nugget meetings), which equates to over $38 of value.

AS there is always a group of us who attend, we should be able to kick the sales off with a dozen or more – but ideally – would be great to sell the 50 – then our horse wins – and the Club gets $2500.

If we miss out on the prizemoney – great day out anyway!!
